City Bistro - Warrnambool

We regularly visit for lunch because of the relaxed atmosphere, Staff are friendly, Dining area is very spacious, Food is delicious. While you are chatting, enjoying a drink, You can watch the bowlers play and enjoy a game of Keno hoping for the Big Win !

Cannot rave enough about the food, dessert, crazy shakes, and great staff (even when they seemed short staffed). The food was a reasonable price and even the chef was friendly and interacted well with the waitresses. If we are ever in town again will be back!!!

Loved our experience at City Bistro tonight - delicious, well-prepared meal (chicken kiev and lamb shanks), a great atmosphere, nice and cool which was well appreciated on such a hot day. A big thumbs up to the whole team, a very busy night but service was very prompt, friendly and efficient. We also enjoyed desserts - we'd highly recommend the sticky date pudding and the kahlua and pistachio icecream terrine! Divine! Reasonably priced menu with specials, including some specialty nights with cheaper eats available.

A large group of us visited City Bistro recently for our work Christmas party and it was absolutely fantastic. So fast serving, the meals were excellent - huge and extremely reasonable in price. I think that perhaps the best aspect was the staff though! We had a wonderful waitress who was so bright and bubbly, she made the night very enjoyable. Wasn't needed for us but the kids playroom was huge and stood out to a number of us as a great spot to be able to bring the kids. We will be back, highly recommend!!

A very hipster place!! If it were in the US it would verge on dive bar status just given its dark and dingy (though candle-lit) quality BUT it is very cool.
