Oishi Sushi - Warren Park

Are you kidding me? Horrible sushi. Serving plate was filthy. Had to spit out one piece, as it had gone rancid. Unfriendly staff. Don't even bother.

DO NOT EAT THERE!!!! We eat sushi all over the country.. and this was by far the worst experience ever!! There were only four people eating inside, including ourselves. One would then assume quick service.. not here! It took a half hour to get our drinks.. which were wrong. When I tried to get the right drink I was informed that Mr. Pib tastes like root beer and that the drink was fine. It took three more times of asking to get my drink.. which ended up being coke mixed with root beer. Oy The food took over 40 mins to serve and was not what we'd ordered. We also had to repetitively ask five times just for the eel sauce we'd ordered with our sushi. The waitress literally ignored us. 50 bucks for 5 pieces of the wrong sushi with one order, and 8 pieces for the other order, along with a tiny salad and two wrong sodas. Which, the waitress had previously told us comes as 12 rolls each. Now, I have never wrote a bad review like this anywhere.. but, the service and food was atrocious!! Then to top it all off, we got terribly sick afterwards..

Imagine that you were involved in online dating. You hit it off with someone via messaging that not only has a great personality, but their photos were very attractive. With great anticipation, you set up an in-person meeting. You show up, and are instantly disappointed to find this person to be void of any personality, and their photos were very old and not representative of their current, disgusting appearance. Such was my experience with Oishi Sushi. Their website has their menu and prices listed, but who knows how old that information is. As soon as I opened their menu in the restaurant, I noticed a bunch of whiteout and new prices written in. The sushi I was planning on ordering was higher. The surprise didn't end there; according to the footer on their website, lunch hours include 12-3pm on Sunday. Nowhere on their menu are the lunch hours listed to contradict the website. I tried to order a lunch special and was informed it was dinner hours all day on Sunday. It didn't matter to them what their website said. We were also the only table in there for most of the lunch, and service was very slow. The restroom floor was also so dirty that my shoes were sticking to it with every step. It's too bad they don't have their stuff together at this place, because the sushi itself actually tasted pretty good. I just think it's shady to have false advertising on your website.

We have been here on several occasions and have always enjoyed it , until this past Friday . The disappointment was that I had checked on line for their menu prices before we went and upon getting there the menus had white out all over them with a lot higher on the specific items we were anticipating on getting. And after asking the waitress about this they wouldn't honor their on line pricing, their good but not that good , probably a deal breaker for any return visits ! :

We love Oishi Sushi! No matter where we move around town, we take the time to travel to see them. The people are friendly creative and the food is absolutely wonderful. Because they are out away from downtown, there is always a seat. Love love love them!! We will be back, of course.
