Hollyhock Hill - Warren Park

Always the best. Service excellent food hot ...and the chicken!!!!

This is a cute little place and the food was amazing! They somehow were able to make beets tasty!

I have been coming to Hollyhock Hill for years. It is our go to place for birthdays or family events. My daughter and I celebrated my birthday yesterday with fried chicken and all the fixings. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was very tasty. The green beans were the best I’ve had there in years. I miss the linen table cloths, but most importantly the pretty colored goblet water glasses. Last night they did find a set and bring my water in those after asking, much appreciated. I would love to see the water glasses return. I did miss the cottage cheese, but my daughter doesn’t care for it. Perhaps it could still be offered to those who want it. Now, for my only real complaint, the ice cream syrups. Please bring back the previous brands! The current brands are horrible Butterscotch syrup is not supposed to be clear and they were all watery We were fine with the new plastic bottles for serving since I am sure they waste less product and remain sanitary My overall experience was great and I recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a family owned, sit down wonderful dinner in a very quaint setting.

A throw back to a simpler time... Great comfort food... Just a special place

It's only open a few hours per day and you may make a reservation online. The atmosphere is like a large house and cozy inside. The staff was incredible and very accommodating. The food was amazing. A 10/10 for the whole experience! You will leave very full!
