I’m giving them 2 stars because the service was really good, they are kind and treat costumers well and respectfully. That being said, The food is Not Good, I tried 3 different Cachapas and the classic Venezuelan Arepa “Reina Pepeada”, not only this place is EXPENSIVE (and I come from Miami, so I KNOW expensive), but the food was awful, the cachapas had NO CHEESE!!!…. That’s an aberration! That’s an Anti-Cachapa, the Arepa was just Shredded chicken with avocado and some mayo… no the proper mixture that goes in a Reina Pepeada. I’m from Venezuela, I drove 40 miles to get to this place, and now I’m Highly disappointed.
I don't give it even half a star, the worst place where I've eaten a real M….
Ordered from door dash. I've not heard of this restaurant before but decided to give it a go after watching a youtuber by the name of The Royal Rogue. He's from Venezuela and recommended arepas. I haven't heard of these before but when he described what they are I thought, wow that sounds really good. I went searching for a restaurant I could get them from in Indianapolis and came across this place. I can't remember the exact name of what I ordered but it is an arepa with chicken and cilantro along with mayo and a sauce that I think has avocado in it. I also ordered a side of black beans. I love this!! The black beans really go good with a bite of the chicken mixture and arepa, they give it such a creamy texture I love. I highly recommend, if you are hesitating to try something new, please give this a go. I don't think you'll be sorry. The portion size is very large for me. This will easily be a snack or lunch for tomorrow. If you have a large appetite it should still be plenty for a meal. I'm currently unable to walk due to a broken foot but once I'm mobile again I'll be checking out the restaurant in person. If this is this good after being delivered 15-20 minutes after it's made I can only imagine how good it'll be fresh out of the kitchen.
The cachapa should be removed from the menu, it is an insult to our real cachapas, the dough with which they make it is a total mistake. Is it also overpriced $22 for an attempt at cachapa??
