This place is awesome! We just happened to come across it searching Yelp and didn't know anything about it. We learned Ante Meridiem means before noon in Latin America. They have an extensive menu of all kinds to choose from. I had the power bowl with grilled chicken which was perfect and a single granola crunch pancake that was one of the best pancakes I've had! Ante Meridiem will definitely be in our rotation of brunch spots. Everything was really fresh and delicious!
We found and walked in 45 minutes their closing time on a Saturday . They were very welcoming and the service was spot on. The food was very good fresh, well prepared and nice portions. We ordered a couple fruity brunch beverages and they were all refreshing. The place gave a homey personal feel. I would highly recommend this local, small business.
We stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was seated immediately. There are so many yummy items on the menu it is hard to choose from! We ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes (Easter weekend special) and the birria skillet with french toast. Both were amazing! The dining room is a little loud, but that won't stop us from coming back! AM is at the top of our list for breakfast places now.
We made our third visit to Ante Meridiem this past Sunday for breakfast/brunch around 9:45. The food was excellent and the service was friendly, but the atmosphere experience was lacking, thus the 4 star rating. Before I delve into that, I want to rave about the Power Bowl (with chicken) I had and the Breakfast Burrito (with chorizo) and side of Churro French Toast my hubby ordered. My bowl was deliciously fresh and presented nicely; will definitely order again. Hubby loved his flavorful breakfast burrito and we both couldn't stop making yummy sounds as we devoured the Churro French toast with fresh berries, which was a generously sized portion. Regarding the atmosphere, I wish they would address the acoustic issues within their space. As other yelpers have mentioned, it can get rather loud which diminishes the dining experience. It just so happened that we arrived shortly after a baby shower had set up on the main side of the dining area which only compounded the noise issue. We considered asking to be moved over to the smaller side of the dining room, but doubted it would've made an impactful difference as it is not a large restaurant on the whole. I think adding drop ceiling tiles or something similar would go a long way to improving their space as well as the dining experiences of their customers. We'll still return but with managed expectations.
