Brownsugar @ Bay Views - WARNERS BAY

We arrived on the first night at 8pm to be told the restaurant was closed. Take two, we returned the next night and were seated in the outer glassed area - lovely! The food was delicious. A great selection for gluten free and vegetarian.

Party of 6, everyone had entrees & mains, everyone happy with meals and service is always top notch. Cannot fault.

First visit, on a Friday evening to this local restaurant. Didn't know anything about it but liked the location. Sitting upstairs, window seats (although cannot see water view at night but still enjoyable)we were greeted and supplied with water, and asked for drink orders. Great selection from the cellar here. Staff member assisted us with choice, well done. Fast Service, enjoyed scallops for entree, tasty and perfectly presented, mains of steak and creole bug, soo so good and duck maryland, very large portion. Sides are available at extra cost. Found the staff most competent, food great and would definitely go back to Brown Sugar, especially for a celebration party dinner.

Been here a few times and each time have been lucky enough to be seated near the window which overlooks the lake. The menu had a few new additions but the prices are even more expensive than before and I really don't like having to pay extra for some geeen vegetables, salad or chips! I had rib eye wrapped in bacon which I asked to be cooked medium to well and it came out more medium but was still very nice. Not enough to fill me up for the price but using the entertainment card made it more palatable.

Thinking you’re an excellent fine dining restaurant is important to build confidence in your restaurant and team. Then there is the crucial part - being capable of realising your objective of a genuine fine dining experience.We want to be wowed by your food and service, our last 3 visits have only wowed us by the final bill…which we would be more than happy to pay if we left feeling that we had got what we went to Brown Sugar for.Please, have a total shake-up, self-reflection and review of your entire operations (including décor). If you can’t find any significant opportunities for improvements then repeat the process with an external professional assessor.You have the location, you have the space, you have the view and you have/had the clientele…don’t waste it.
