( In desperate need of updating). perhaps a liitle background music, more cheerful decor. The elderly gentleman waiter did not seem pleased to see us.We were presented with a plate of the most disappointing salad I have had so far in Germany. A lettuce leaf, a small portion of grated carrots and pickled cabbage, ( no tomatoes or cucumber or dressing ) and then came the shock of being presented with sachets of dressings ( thought of being in McDonalds sprung to mind), not what I expect in a restaurant.Talking of McDonalds, everything came with french fries which seemed to have been fried twice, very hard, left mine. My partner ordered the roast liver Balkan style, ( not sure what was Balkan about it? ) slices of liver, a slice of bacon, raw onions, some rice, and yes french fries, no gravy or sauce. The saving grace for me was that I had a nice little steak from the children's menu.Needless to say, not a nice experience for us.
I grew up in Warendorf and moved to America 3 years ago. i used to go to that place at least every other week. they offer a big variety in Balkan food as well as some typical German. The portions are real big and the price is reasonable. The stuff is very friendly and quick. The atmosphere is good. Therefor i give 4 Points out of 5
Having lived in germany for 10 years I frequented this establishment often. It specialises in Balkan specialities and having costed most of the menu I can honestly say it is great value for money. The staff there are fantastic and the quality of food and service there is second to none. They also have a good range of wines spirits and beers. If its for a romantic meal for 2 or a family evening out Dreibrueken Hof is the venue.
Visited this German/Balkan restaurant with my sister and her husband on a busy Sunday evening. We arrived at 6:00 a.m., but the place was already with Diners and people who had arrived to collect their take. As a fan of the Balkan dishes, I ordered a mixed grill from the extensive menu. While we waited for our meals to arrive, we got a small plate of salad, shredded carrots and shredded cabbage, which was very tasty. The service was somewhat slow, but given the number of diners to be expected. When my meal arrived, I was shocked in the size of the dish and the amount that was served. A frikadelle, two cevapcici, a pork steak, and a skewer of pork slices was more than enough, but then there was a generous help of vegetable rice along with raw onions and a part of fries, which fortunately could have served a whole family of four! Too much, in my opinion, it's a shame that so much on the plates I found wasted. But the restaurant has a reputation for huge portions (so I have said), so I think it would be difficult for them to cut back now. During our meal, people came in to take away food, which was all efficiently made out of what I could see. All in all, this is a great restaurant for those with a huge appetite. Appropriately expensive, clean and clearly popular among locals, I would come back if I ever were in the area.

I spoke of McDonalds, everything came with French french fries, who fried twice, very hard, leaving mine. My partner ordered the Bratleber-Balkan style, not sure what was Balkan about it?
