Americana Cafe - Wareham

Hello! I just had one of the best meals since arriving from California. Thank you! The chef and waitstaff are both outstanding.

I just enjoyed an excellent Chicken Parm! It was cooked to perfection, with the best doneness I've experienced in a long time. As always, the service was incredibly friendly. The dining area is outdoors under a canvas tent, and if it gets chilly, they can close the sides and turn on heaters. They've also started taking reservations, and I've heard it's essential to book on weekends when the weather is nice.

I was passing through Wareham on a Tuesday afternoon and found that the other restaurants I had considered for lunch were closed. Luckily, my husband noticed the Ameriana Cafe just down a short street. It appeared to be a casual outdoor spot where we could grab a quick bite to eat. We decided to give it a try, not expecting too much. To our surprise, the food was exceptional! It’s a scratch kitchen where the quality and love for cooking really show. We shared a fish sandwich and a corned beef sandwich, and both were outstanding—perfectly prepared. As food enthusiasts, we truly appreciate when a restaurant takes pride in using fresh ingredients and preparing them well. The service was excellent as well! What a wonderful find. We will definitely be returning!

Indulge in an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! I've ordered from them several times lately, and each meal has been absolutely delightful. Having dined at some of the top restaurants in the area, I can confidently say that this place ranks among the very best!

We ordered takeout chicken parmesan and chicken broccoli ziti from here, and it was fantastic! A+ for flavor and deliciousness.
