Ridgewood Station Tavern - Wantagh

This taverne has a great atmosphere, beautiful, sport to watch. but above all the food dives and chips desserts them they call it must go here!

My husband and I stopped in today (Monday at 2pm) to order take out. We had our 3 month old with us. We were hoping she would be decent enough for us to stay to eat our lunch but as this was our first restaurant outting with her we weren’t so hopeful.Flash forward to the waterworks and trying to quickly gather our stuff so we could wait outside for the food to finish.A man that I presume was the owner asked us to stay and if we wanted to sit in their empty party room so we could eat even if she was having a tough time. How thoughtful. As first time parents these firsts are always stressful and this kind man and our waiter Danny couldn’t have been sweeter, more understanding and accommodating.We were able to stay, have our delicious meals and feel ‘normal’ for a little bit out in the world with our daughter.

Always a great time the food and service is amazing very friendly atmosphere

The food was great! Staff was attentive and very pleasant. Always recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Having my future daughter in law's bridal shower there in 3 weeks.

We love this place. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful, like management. Her food is also excellent and a step over similar establishments.
