New Wave Seafood - Wantagh

We had a wonderful experience at this casual clam shack with fantastic seating. It's conveniently located right next to their seafood market. The raw oysters were delightful, and the calamari was hot and fried in fresh oil. For the main dishes, the loaded scallops were excellent, but the Chilean sea bass was simply incredible! The kids really enjoyed their penne alla vodka and fish and chips. We can’t wait to come back again!

The artichoke sole was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The stuffed salmon was generously filled, far from skimpy, and also cooked beautifully. The sangria was delicious! The staff was very friendly as well. Overall, I give the food an A+ and a 5/5 rating!

I bought fresh fish for a Lenten meal, and everything was delicious. The tartar sauce was excellent, and the cod loin was fantastic. I’m excited to try the restaurant next. Once I did, I found the fish to be DELICIOUS—fresh and perfectly prepared. The clam chowder was ready and packed with clams. The portions are enormous; we ended up taking home half of our meal. We will definitely be returning. As for parking, there’s a small lot in the front and more in the back. Wheelchair accessibility is available.

Hands down, THE BEST Manhattan clam chowder I've ever had. The warm lobster roll was HUGE and absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Great food and service. The young man, Rob, who appeared to be the manager, was such a gentleman. Real nice kid, checked in on us, friendly and polite. Twin lobster roll was fantastic. We will be back!
