Chippy's Fish Cafe

I stumbled into this shop on a Monday and bought the Monday special, a large piece of snapper and chips for $7.95. The portion is very big, the fish is very fresh and crispy and chip is average.  I also bought few pieces of fish bites for around $6.00 and the portion is very generous too. The shop is very spacious and the ambiance is much nicer than most fish and chip shops. Love this shop and will be my regular fish and chip shop.

I loved the ease of ordering ahead online. My order was ready by the requested time for pick up. The medium $4.50) portion of chips was huuuuuuge. Pictured below are the LEFTOVERS from two people. They were so crunchy and stayed crunchy well into the night while we picked at them. Also highly recommend the battered fetta bites, 10 huge chunks for 5 bucks! Squid rings were good. Batter on the pineapple rings were too thick. Didn't order fish so can't comment.

BRILLIANT SURF AND TURF. Went with mrs and two kids I saw the menu and was a bit hesitant due to it been a spin off from the (really good) fish andChip shop, like how are they gonna go with a steak...... But it was great served just to my liking with mash, roast veggies, a big peice of steak, perfect prawns with garlic sauce. I've had many a surf and in all honestly this was the best. The wife had Thai mussels which looked really good but she said she has had better but for the price she was happy. Really recommend. Especially around sun set. Don't go on a windy night as they don't have any cafe blinds that I could see.

Just wanted to say thank you to Chippys Carramar, just ordered and picked up the portions were huge and food was amazing. I am sitting here so tummy happy, if you are looking for some amazing service and food go here! Highly recommend thank you!

Great value for money fish was fresh and the chips were tasty.
