Great vegetarian place! Had a vegetarian dumpling soup which was delicious and great price too. Everything looked fresh and tasted great.

Great vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu. Staff is super friendly, might have to use translator to talk with them. Prices are excellent, ranging between 80-120 TW$ per dish. The dumplings are vegetarian because they use eggs for the dough (as far as I know), the noodle soup is vegan, she uses Seitan strips for the soup. I highly recommend to check this place out, both the soup and dumplings were delicious! They also provide a buffet for chosing various steamed vegetables with rice.

I’ve ordered their vegetarian braised bean curd rice, Chinese herb dumplings soup (cabbage as filling), original dumplings soup I love that chinese Angelica soup Taste so smooth and calming my nerve I prefer to have Chinese leeks as dumpling filling though

This is extremely near to our place of lodging, and we visited it at 510pm. According to its opening hours, it reopens in the evening at 5pm, and already the little cafe's 7 seater area was full and there was a queue. Small and unassuming, but yet it had really delicious Braised Meat Rice 魯肉飯 . We devoured bowls of it! The sesame noodles 炸醬麵 is great too. Less deserving was the Angelica Sinensis soup 當歸湯 which had great reviews here, but we have had better ones before. This was a bit bland to us. Still, a wonderful find and it's a gem. Visit them in the morning for their dumplings and if you are heading for dinner, go before 6pm. The boss says they are often sold out by 6ish.
