However, it was a shame that half of the main courses were not available on a Saturday night. also the building has a lot of potential. they must invest in an interior architect and get better management. they don't get the whole return they could have. the food was good, the service also, but the overall experience could have been better.
Maybe they have read my last contribution about dinner club coordinators extrodinaire, grub club. You are just approaching the Putney bridge and it is time to give a delicious break- this multi-storey building with Duke's Head pub, Wolsey Room and Coxswain Dining Room will definitely have all you are looking for. Actually we were in the Rowing Club, below Duke's head in the Lower Ground. everything on the Little Luch menu is absolutely delicious, and I do like this menu particularly as every ingredient and combination appeals to me, I could live with this list of options for such a long, long time Haddock burgers and garnished fennel and chili squid are just yummy, and London Pale Ale to go with they have the proper, standard beer selection Enjoying your time by the river...read more
We were back a few times! Great local pub, friendly staff, excellent food, stunning views of the Thames, a great option for a complete meal, or drinks with friends ^ ^ can sit in or take away and drink by the river! this time I had the board special, slowly cooked pork ribs, and aah... it was to die! Well done The Dukes Head, very deserves four to five stars now!! ^ ^ can not wait to be back! x
