La Mediterranea - Wandsworth

I stopped in for lunch with my mom at this restaurant. The pasta dishes we ordered were incredibly delicious, made with fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The service was laid-back and friendly, and it was enjoyable to sit in the open front area on a sunny day.

I speak as an Italian who home cooks and loves a good time around the table with kids and friends... I feel at home at Giovanni's

This isn't the best little restaurant in tooting, it's the best in London. Very friendly great coffee it's like you are in Sicily, however the weather isn't always as good.

The selection of cheeses and cured meats is fantastic, with Giovanni and Paolo being very helpful. I just ordered their eggplant parmigiana dish and cannelloni for 50 people. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the coffee was superb. This place may be hard to find, but spread the word - it's a gem.

I adore this place! The food, coffee, and ice cream are fantastic. It's also a great spot for finding rare ingredients and Italian treats for the kids.
