Was craving eggs on toast, read on the menu "eggs on sourdough with bacon $14.90 (or close too)", I'm vegetarian, have been vegetarian for 18 odd years, I asked whether I could swap bacon ($4 to add extra), to baked beans ($2.00 to add extra), the girl at the counter informed me it wouldn't make it any cheaper but she could do it for an extra $2.00 .. dumbfounded at how substituting a $4 item for a $2 item would cost an extra $2 I rephrased myself, "I don't want the bacon, keep the bacon, can't you just swap it for bake beans", again was met with the same yes I can for $2 extra... and then I remembered why I don't come here anymore! Overpriced, inflexible - given the only other cooked veggie options were an $18 omelette or $15 waffles. I type this as I sit here drinking my $6.90 juice and Luke warm raisin "toast" with butter (maybe, who knows really) because $15 for an egg on toast is a no go. Wouldn't recommend it to any other vegetarians, anyone with dietary requirements or anyone looking for a decent value breaky. Or anyone shopping with a pram/trolley because apparently they "can't be brought inside".
This is a great little cafe and with super friendly, happy staff. Coffee is great and the food looks lovely - although I didn't have anything to eat the day I had coffee. All in all 5/5 :)
Caught up with a friend for coffee and cake though it was very nice quaint & the service and food were fantastic but it was quite expensive. Would I go back? Yes, but on rare occasions.
First time going here. Good selection of brunch items to choose from. Gluten free option available. Our breakfast was yum, served quickly with fresh juices. Only downside prices are a little expensive.
A friendly and cosy environment. Meals are delicious and they have the most scrumptious cakes and slices.
