Guanachapi's - Waltham

Well a rustic and homely place.....but the food is authentic....great Ochata....if you like the drink....Loved  the Pupusa's.....the food is good....and the service is pretty homely too......

Be prepared for a nap. The food here is heavy and greasy. It is worth a try, especially if you need to use 3000 calories following your meal. Don't go there expecting Mexican food. Deep fried bacon and Pollo campero with rice and fries? Seriously, Rip van Winkle, you will need take a shower, brush your teeth and find a nice place to tuck in for a few hours after eating that..

Restaurant was clean and the waitress also runs the register. She was very prompt in getting my order when I walked in for my pick-up. Food is authentic, home made, at a fair price, and very good! I tried their Pupusa since I have never had it before and it was good size and filling with my 3 tacos. I recommend this spot for authentic Latin American food at a fair price.

I don't know what some of these people are complaining about. The place looks clean and maintained. The food looks and tastes like a home-cooked meal and the chicharrones are perfect! It is not a fancy restaurant by any means, but it doesn't pretend to be either. Just a great place to go in and get lunch or dinner without any fuss at a very reasonable price. The service leaves nothing to be desired; the waitress was prompt, smiley and eager to give her recommendations on what to eat. She even checked in a couple times during the meal to make sure everything was as it should. I'm sure I'll return here many times!
