Mack’s Hot Chicken - Walterhill

My Mother in law was turning 75 she requested hot chicken for dinner. I never tried Mack’s before was excited to check it out. I called ahead and the girl who answered the phone was very helpful. She let me pre order what I needed which made it so convenient. She let me know everything is made to order so it would take approx 30 minutes. When I arrived, my order was not quite ready. Picking this place for hot chicken is a great call. Their hot has a sweetness to it that makes your tastebuds enjoy before the heat comes shining on through, while the mack attack is in a whole nother realm ofsweet hellfire. The fried okra and pickles are a delight to the burning tastebuds with their great tasting ranch. I'd come back here again anytime, as long as I got napkins and ranch to spare

100% amazing! Only my second time eating here but it’s a hard working family who runs the restaurant and they do an incredible job at preparing the food. There may be a wait from time to time but it’s definitely worth it. Morgan is so kind and the rest of the family seems just as kind. Can’t wait to see the growth with this restaurant!

Found this restaurant while traveling through the area. Hot chicken was great!! Not many people inside eating but locals were getting food to go. Staff was very friendly and upfront that bone in chicken would take a little longer which I didn't mind. Worth it! Thank you Macks's Hot Chicken. See you next time. Tom
