Athos - Walsrode

Actually, I used to be happy and liked to come here. The food was also very often good. But now I was with my family at the Easter buffet and unfortunately we didn't like it so much. We were there at noon. The selection was very large and plentiful, only I think the dishes had been kept too long in the heat tanks and so most of them have been through. I've experienced that much better. And at a price of almost 35 € per person you can also hope for good food and serve. Now I have to confess that I don't find the price-performance ratio so great. This has happened to me many times during the last visits I was there. I will also go back to see if something has changed and improved, but if that is the case, I will probably keep my assessment and take preference elsewhere, which I would personally find quite a pity, as I used to like to come here very much.

Athos restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and mega friendly crew. The appetizer was the hammer – huge, would have been loose for four people and really delicious. Also the main dish was top, authentic Greek and has fully convinced. At dessert, they've been plucked a bit: packed ice with ice crystals, not my thing. I would have liked something fresh, self-made, really Greek. But all in all, really recommended shop when you have Bock on good Greek cuisine.

Great food. Large portions and cheap. Staff all really friendly. It's really great.

Come back from the food, dinner with my mom tonight. We had the Athen plate for two people. Am absolutely thrilled everything has tasted super, it was extremely rich, the gyros on the plate was the most tasty sweetest I ever had ever eaten. We will definitely go back
