Georges Cafe - Walsenburg

Ain 't what it used to be. First time back since Covid. I would still recommend. It wasn 't horrible. Just not what I remembered.Of course, prices were affected.

A small cafe on the north end of town. It has been a favorite of locals adn travelers for many, many years. The food is very good and the staff are friendly.

Had a lunch here and was very pleased with everything. The Colorado steak sandwich is like a Philly with a mildly spicy pepper thrown in. Huge order of fries is easily enough for two people. Chicken fried steak sandwich was tasty and everything was made fresh. Good choice for lunch.

It's always good diner food with good service. A local hangout. Stop by for breakfast or lunch. Parking: Big parking lot.

Not my first experience here, but my first dining inside and seeing a menu. The place is truly delightful, local casual, friendly. The food is fantastic, homemade fresh and served hot. Great service and atmosphere, small town gem!
