It would not be surprising to me if you met the owner or a member of his family when you visit, because he is unbelievably at his offices “Tessie’s” just two doors down there is also a hidden jewel of the same family). They have built an incredibly remarkable staff, environment and culinary experience. Tonight, I hunted one of their parentheses, and, in my opinion, most delicious meals. I came to the bar at 5:45 on a Sunday; Although they had arrived from a day, the environment never seemed overwhelming and somehow always close to immaculate. With a rear deck, indoor dining area/bar with large open windows and a large *good designed dog friendly * terrace area in front to choose, you can essentially choose your mood for the night. I started ordering a mango beer by catching her tap list of bartender Jess... and then a few more), I then ordered the 4 cheese tortellini with shrimps. Jess was fantastic at the bar to make sure that I and the other people around me had water, rounds and food, as needed 3 different locals met conversation with me during my visit and had only good things to say about this place). The beer was a unique, delicious from CA and the Tortellini was amazing as always. This place is loved by younger and older crowds. A fabulously good menu, staff and environment makes for a 5-star experience and review.
I said to one (Mass-Kollegen, that I traveled from Texas (home to Walpole, MA. He recommended the Raven's Nest Pub. We were not disappointed. We've tried a few Ales. I had PumpkinHead from Shipyard. My wife had Blueberry Ale. We liked it so much, she called Texas and tried to find it. We bought the last 24 cans in Texas. All about The Raven's Nest was excellent: bartender, waitress, food, beer, atmosphere. Met a friendly pub mate, had a nice chat about his teams. I called my colleague when I came home and thanked him for the proposal. Will be back next year for changing leaves and try even more Ravens Nest specialties.
Don't let the pictures fool you. We were hesitant, because the food didn't look so good, but the opposite is true. Place has amazing tasting food and definitely worth your time. Great atmosphere too. Very recommended.
I had a steak from the special menu, medium. Perfectly cooked, green beans were fresh, mash was deliciously seasoned. Excellent brownie sunflower. Small beer selection, but a lot of options. Great atmosphere and decoration. No disturbance of the device, but can be loud, depending on current occupants and seats. Parking is difficult, but not forbiding. I once found a place after the circle, and that was on a Friday an hour after work, so it is to be expected. Definitely will return.
After driving by this place a few times on my way to work, i decided i had to stop in and try it. I wasnt disappointed. The name 'The Raven 's Nest ' is just perfect, especially so when i actually saw one only a few miles away. Its not too large inside but doesn 't feel crammed together. It has a full size bar and a decent sized restaurant area. Its much larger inside than you might suspect from the outside. The staff was friendly and overall really good. They had some nice (i think) seasonal drinks, and their burgers are heavenly. The way they grill their burger buns is unique and adds a nice flavor to them. I will definitely be a repeat visitor despite the relatively long distance from my home.
