Cove View Take Out - Walnut Cove

I live in Walnut Cove, literally walking distance from the restaurant. The last 2 times I ordered I was appalled. The first time my husband ordered a pizza, very simple, light sauce, pepperoni, extra cheese. We waited over an hour for the pizza. My husband gives the girl 20 asked for change being that the order was 13 and change. She says she'll be right back with the change. Several minutes of standing at the door later she comes back with 1.34 in nickels pennies....literally. says this is all the change she has on her. So we were forced to give a 5 tip for a 2min drive, if that. We were charged 2 bucks for the extra cheese. Pizza was ice cold. And the extra cheese? Non existent. The sauce was clearly visible thru the thin layer of cheese. When we called to complain the guy said he made our pizza himself and that was indeed extra cheese. And as for the driver, he has nothing to do with that better luck next time. 2nd incident, after the first issue I refused to spend my there until we had company that wanted to try it. This time we ordered lg stromboli xtra pepperoni. Again was charged 2 for extra toppings that were hardly capable of being considered regular portions. Order gets here...cold....and blackened. Now idk about you but pizza is one thing I do not enjoy burnt to a crisp. Literally. I had to cut the entire top off the stromboli just to be edible. I vowed to spread the word about this awful establishment. Oh and last but not least the take out menu advertised new ownership, yeah no....same ol man. I wish I could post a pic of this order from tonight

I was surprised by the reviews I've seen, as everyone has unique experiences. Mine was definitely a 5-star one! I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and wings for delivery. The process was quick, the order was accurate, and it was exactly how I wanted it! The food was fantastic too. I have no complaints at all!

The takeout menu is quite disappointing. I ordered cheese sticks with marinara sauce but received Ranch dressing instead. I also ordered a house salad and ended up with a garden salad. When I called the restaurant to address the issues, they were unhelpful and insisted that "GP" meant olives, not green peppers, even though the menu clearly stated "green peppers." They hung up on me when I called back. Overall, it was a poor experience with subpar quality, service, and food. Additionally, the menu itself was confusing and poorly written.

I was very frustrated when the delivery driver showed up and then left. After waiting for an hour, I called to check on my order, and they said they were closed before hanging up on me. I didn't receive anything and experienced terrible service. I'm sorry, but I won't be calling them back—it's a cold day in hell before that happens!
