Center Street Luncheonette

We stayed overnight and chose to have a continental breakfast at the hotel, but we were thrilled to discover this charming, clean, friendly, and delicious diner! Our waitress Karen was fantastic and very funny, and she definitely gave us a heads-up about the "hungry man" portion!

During a work trip, I found myself with a bit more time and decided to stop for breakfast at one of the few places that opened at 6:00 AM. It's a small diner with a charming, classic atmosphere. I was warmly welcomed by the staff, and the server was particularly friendly. The coffee was hot and just what I needed after a long drive. I ordered the Hash Eggs, which featured what I would call homemade corned beef hash. Paired with two over-easy eggs, hash browns, and whole wheat toast, it was a delightful meal that left me very satisfied. I don't have breakfast every day, but if I lived in the area, I'd definitely make this place a regular stop.
