Maxhütte - Wallgau

Great view, beautiful cottage restaurant, cheap prices, but limited map.

A very nice holiday home with great views and beautiful gastronomy. Food was good and plentiful. Ideal for a day trip. The view is fantastic.

Unbelievable beautiful views After a short walk through a shaded mountain forest, the hiker reaches the Maxhütte. From the terrace you have a wonderful panorama from the Soiern group to the Karwendel Mountains to the Wetterstein Mountains to the Zugspitze. Wallgau and Krün are located in the green Isartal. Prices very moderate, friendly and attentive service. Menu slightly touristy. Fortunately no access with cars allowed, so authentic and nice audience.

Great view. Friendly. Food was good. No big choice, it's just a cabin.

Also in the rain a rewarding destination. From the Wallgau golf course to the hut in about two hours. Always through the forest. With a clear look, the more beautiful.
