For many years we have always been happy to visit this restaurant. The food is very tasty and the service friendly. In recent years there have been more operations here. In recent years it has become a little less, but it is just right for us. The food is still very good and that is the most important.

Hotel Post offers a rich selection of delicious dishes. If we stay in this area, we always eat there. The staff is very difficult to make the guest as pleasant as possible. The house is cozy and offers a rustic flair. We have known the team for years and are always looking forward to them.

I can only agree absolutely with my previous speaker! The Hotel Post is for me the epitome of Bavarian cosiness, although I do not as a hotel, but only as a restaurant....but it certainly has more than ten times. When we make holidays in the region, every time at least 2 visits to the post are simply part of it....and this has been for many years. The food is simply great, not a 08/15 meal, but really first-class food and especially typical Bavarian ....from pork with dumplings and salad over pork roasts, pork schnitzel, pavilions to my personal highlight, the Bavarian sausage salad with Regensburg sausage, cucumbers, onions and fresh farmers You have to try it! Also great is the breadboard that my husband likes to order and which is really great visual and tasteful. The upper part of the restaurant has been the same for over 30 years!... which certainly speaks for the post. It is also really cozy in the mail! Although the urge here is always very great, it is necessary to reserve before, but there is no hectic here. The decor is comfortable and very beautiful, with lots of wood and in warm colors. In summer, in front of the windows there are always a lot of beautiful flower decorations, only geraniums and beautifully planted flower pots. The post office is located in the middle of the city of Wallgau and with its beautiful façade with the large Lüftlmalereien is already visible from the distance. The audience is usually somewhat older, but you also meet younger people who appreciate traditional Bavarian cosiness. The food is therefore very good and we were not even disappointed in the many visits. I can't judge how the rooms are.
