Gasthof Zur Post - Wallenhorst

We visited this pub/restaurant last year. we sat outside and were very satisfied with our meals. we have even made a good assessment. we decided to have another dinner last night and were very disappointed. when entering the pub we were with the terrible. Smoke friends hit. Although there is a smoker area, this does not help others who do not smoke if there is no door that separates the smoker from the restaurant. we have ordered our meals. I had a baked potato that was so small, but great looked out because of the huge amount of cream she covered. my man ordered bud spencer schnitzel with bratkartoffeln. what a disappointment. the bratkartoffels were covered with oil and looked like they had been reheated a few times. the scavenger was so flat and was covered in what can only be described as a dose of English drilling. that was it. on the menu was carefully written, very hot (image) . that was the reason why my man picked up this meal. not hot, not spicy and certainly not pleasant. the pfeffer from the pfefferpot had actually spiced more than the meal! as a shame as the last time we visited, we enjoyed our meal very much. unfortunately we will not go back there.

My man and I came here an evening after the shopping and decided to eat here. the service was very good, and the waitress (or the chefin was very friendly and helpful. our meals came fast and were both extremely tasty. we would certainly... come back here and would recommend it 100

We were there for the first night of a bike tour. hotel and restaurant only opened at 16.00 clock near osnabrück it was hard to find a hotel, certainly for this price. other guests for dinner were all locals. the place was well organized and. clean eating was good, especially the vegetarian meal of my wife.

Accommodation for little money, breakfast was tasty, shops in the environment are reachable to foot, not recommended if you have to go daily to osnabrück because at the entrance of osnabrück daily the pure traffic chaos prevails,

We stayed there for the first night of a cycling trip. Hotel and restaurant opened only at 16.00. In nearby Osnabrück it was hard to find a hotel, certainly for this price. Other guests for dinner were all locals. The place was well organised and clean. The food was good, specially my wife's vegetarian meal.
