This was my first time in Foo Chow. The staff was very attentive. The food was hot; we arrived just as dinner service was starting. The selection was good although the flavor was pretty basic typical for a Chinese Buffett. The skirt steak used in the steak and pepper dish had been over velveted to the point of having almost a slimy texture, so not very appetizing. The sesame chicken was good as were the spare ribs. It is a buffett in Louisiana so expect the ol boiled crawfish and shrimp. It is your typical Chinese buffet, but the place was clean, staff was fast, the food was ok. I'm somewhat of a snob about Asian food anyways, I lived in SE Asia for many years and got to taste it from the source. Its hard to judge McD fairly when you've had homemade Goyza, and yakisoba.
Crawfish was the worst today n black n mush been coming to this place for over 3 years and today was the worst ever
They have crab legs every Saturday around 4pm! We drive 20min for them. That how good they are! My son loves the crawfish!
Went tonight for the crab legs. Paid $118 for a family of 4. Crab legs were overcooked, bland, and would not peel. Rest of the food on the buffet was okay but obviously not worth $24.99 a person. Not recommended if you are looking for crab legs.
