Never noticed this place before it is in the middle of an old stripe ball and if you don't look for it, you just don't see it. I actually saw it on Google Maps and thought what is this place? I drove by for lunch. It's an old school diver... a fat spoon, and I'm saying that in the most positive way. I love it! It is very authentic and everyone in there was probably many times before, except me. I loved the waitress, although I didn't get her name. She was a Hoot! We talked about how it's good to try new places and she said: So where are you going? I said here! I'll do it now! Haha. Anyway, the place is old, but very clean and personally I loved the red covered stools and stand seats along with the vintage signs on the wall for Pepsi and Coke. Many Marilyn Monroe and Elvis too. I had a simple cheeseburger and pommes (with cheese) and a coffee. It was great and the prices were extremely reasonable, especially for this area! I usually spend $25-$30 for lunch and I spent $11. Cheaper than McDonalds, so I am.
I love this place. The waitress is great and they make a middle omelette. Sit down makes it feel like you're home.
This is our absolute favorite breakfast place in NJ. We love to find places with that “old time dwelling” feeling what is exactly what you get here. It's always the same waitress, the same guy who checks you out. Service is always very pleasant. The Omelettes are always excellent, which is hard to find nowadays! We try to come at least once a month.
This place is absolutely amazing. Great old time luncheonette. Nothing fancy. Just the basics. The food is awesome. The service is fast and friendly and you will not break the bank. This place is Aces. I absolutely love it here...
