Calypso Restaurant Bar Lounge

The Rheinischer hof tried first, but no waiter really took care of us, we just left 20m and entered the Calypso, which is at the austrian gate in the beautiful old town of Waldshut in southern Germany. The place was pretty crowded with people and we managed to get the last free table. Quickly ordered a selection of dishes for lunch. The waiting time for both to complete the order and wait for the food was quite average, keep the place almost booked, it is acceptable. The food was good, soup, Carpaccio, Cordon Bleu and Salad, all that was very delicious and in good quality and taste. All for 60 Euros, including drinks, consider the situation that is not too bad. We were positively surprised. On the first floor there is a beautiful roof terrace, a beautiful shade. Service was friendly and efficient. Had a nice lunch. Salad was good. Burger was nice too. The prices are okay.

Ambiente is beautiful and cozy. The service is pretty fast. The prices of foods are too high considering that quality and taste are quite average. Besides, the food was pretty cold. But the presentation was good. I only recommend this restaurant if you're smokers. The good thing is that you have smoke.

We went for a lunch during a shopping tour at Waldshut. Beautiful old buildings and nice shops made us hungry and thirsty. Huge portions and nicely fresh ingredients. Best Burgers and salads and nice choice of Beverages. Very friendly service staff and cool place to...spend some hours.
