Hilltop Cafe Bistro - Waldport

Clam chowder is gluten free and the best I've had in years!! The bread both gluten free and regular is delectable! The spot is relaxed but clean and vibey. They play great music and the staff is incredibly friendly! I ordered the seafood scampi! It was incredibly satisfying and had much more seafood than I'd expect! They don't cut corners here. My sister had the shroom burger which she described as hearty comforting perfectly cooked yet complex and delicate. The gluten free bun has a good flavor and keeps its shape. Its full of delicious warm melts cheese and the garlic aioli is incredible! Her new favorite burger anywhere! Pesto linguini and clams are what my friend ordered. He says the large number of clams and the linguini and pesto have an incredibly balanced flavor. The fresh and salty clams are delicious and topped with the Parmesan it makes a wonderful and exciting array of flavors and textures. It's a heart warming and well rounded dish! Will come back! It's our new favorite spot on the coast! The service was fast friendly and inviting. No rushing. It's a place even at closing that you can plan to set a while.

We usually end up regretting the money spent at a restaurant when we travel but this place was incredible and worth every penny! Our server was so nice our food was exceptional and the peanut butter porter was one of the best dark beers I’ve ever had! I recommend highly! Thanks for a great meal after a long day!

Everything we ordered for lunch was delicious! I had the crab melt, my daughter had the club sandwich, and my grandson had the bacon wrapped hot dog. Staff was pleasant, service was pretty quick, and I loved the fact that they had a patio area for my dog. They even put out a water bowl for dogs and there's a spigot on the patio for refilling the water bowl with fresh water. This is my new favorite place in Waldport... I'm already craving another one of their crab melts!

I just enjoyed a fabulous awesome dinner at Hilltop Bistro. My strongest praise goes to the wait staff! SHE was the most awesome waitress I have ever had the pleasure to receive a meal from. She was performing the duties of multiple staff for a very full house. Her skills were amazing, her decorum was perfect. Her ethics , to cover everything required of her, were impeccable. She is the epitome of the finest human willing to do what needs to be done. Due to the quality of the menu, she was also able to deliver a top notch meal!

Excellent food. We had seafood sampler bowl of chowder salad the chicken wrap with coleslaw. Shrimp was amazing the crabcake was cooked perfectly the crab ravioli was uniquely delicious. Chowder was full of clams.
