Food left nothing else to be desired in flavor. It was top tier. Prices have also come.down some, and the service was great.

So this my families go to spot. They are never busy during the day, but they are in the evening. The first time I went with a gf and the DH was everything on a Tuesday. They stopped the Taco DJ night . I heard it's Friday now, idk. I went again to take my family for my son's graduation and they loved it. The ambiance is nice, more staff should understand English as all the orders came out wrong and confusing. No biggie. I took my husband for a munch date and he fell in love with the taco salad. I love it all!!! I have tons of pics. Just go try it and go when the dj is there!!! Drinks

As a Mexican-American from the Chi, trying to find good Mexican food in the DMV is something I've almost given up on. But, when you compare/contrast this with some of the others in Southern MD (Mexico, La Tolteca, and Los Compadres (most authentic dishes , it fails to compete, though, admittedly, all of these places would close down in the Chi, TX, or Southern CA within a few months of opening.The environment was okay but looked too much like the Applebees or TGIF it replaced. The refried beans were runny, and as another reviewer stated, the food was lacking in Mexican spices. The rice tasted a bit like white rice. The steak in my steak burrito was too thinly sliced compared to Mexico or La Tolteca's, completely missing up the texture and chew I'm used to. The oil used for the tortilla chips had a bitter aftertaste, and only the first batch are complimentary. I won't go back. Luckily, my parents moved from Chicago to the area, so I can stop searching. Nothing beats home cooked meals anyway.Also, by default, they used black beans on my daughter's nachos. Refried pinto beans should be the default. This would not be a problem if the server hadn't promised to bring us a new plate of nachos without ever doing so.

Stopped by here on a Saturday evening to try it out. I have passed by here a lot but never stopped. The restaurant is kind of hidden behing the trees with no road sign so it easy to forget its here. The place was was clean and not busy. The waitress was super helpful and nice when we asked about some of the items on the menu. The shrimp empantdas appetizer not good. The shell tasted like like oil and flower it overpowered the shrimp. The Birria steak tacos on the other hand were great. The shrimp meal was very good also. The chirros for dessert were delicious. The place could use some good cleaning in the corners and under the tables overall a good meal. I would give them 7 out of 10 stars .Parking: Large lot with lots of parking spaces.
