Wing King of Ohio here, another road trip, to find the perfect buffalo wings, this time I am in Waldorf, Maryland. First stop on this trip: America 's Best Wings. So, I saw the name and thought 'oh, lot 's of talk, let 's see how they stack up '. Not disappointed, at all! I called in my order, the guy on the phone was super polite(always a bonus), quickly took my order and off I went to the place to see if my food would he ready in the '15minutes ' he stated. I got there 18 minutes after I ordered, and my food was ready! Bonus points. The nice lady at the counter, who was bagging my order showed me the wings(always a nice touch), the wings were piping hot. At this point, even if the wings were tasteless, this place has earned 3 stars just in awesome staff!!! But, we 're here for the food. My order: 20 wings, split between 2 flavors: Hot: the hot wings(they call them buffalo) were very spicy, not done in a traditional tobasco/vinegar sauce, so I won 't call them buffalo, but they were a respectable hot wing, crispy skin, loaded with flavor(not just hot to be hot). Top quality. Hot BBQ: this is a mixed sauce of their actual hot sauce and their base BBQ sauce. The BBQ was powerful in taste so as to not be overpowered by the hot of the hot sauce. Nice mixture. Overall, a respectable wing, great flavors, and great staff. Keep up the good work!
