Station Pub - Wakefield

First visit with family having travelled up from Guernsey. Made to feel very welcome and staff couldn’t do enough. Food was amazing, proper Yorkshire I’d call it and felt back at home.

Every so often we come across hidden gems and this did not disappoint. Upon entering this pub for the 1st time the ambience of this pub felt amazing with a warm welcome smile by staff. The menu is amazing with a wide variety of home cooked foods which caters everyone's needs. Ordered a beef in gravy meal and gammon meal which were amazing The portions were so big we couldn't finish it all. I can honestly say this pub which is tucked away in the heart of wakefield is a must visit for everyone. From start to finish was a great experience. From feeling famished to having our bellies filled too much brought back the memories of how food was cooked with love and care. Next time anyone is in wakefield please visit you will not be disappointed.

First visit for my family, perfect for kids to play whilst you soak up the sun and have refreshments. plenty to choose from, on the menu particularly enjoyed the homemade chips

Cracking local with sports on which is the reason we called. Great atmosphere staff. Can't comment on the food personally but can say I never saw any complaints. Might take the better half update the review. Definitely recommended

Meal was down to earth tasty and of agood size. Home made chips. Anybody who offers egg and chips on a menu totally gets what I want. No pretention just down to earth pub grub cooked beautifully and served with a smile. They get what we want and I loved it.
