Qubana - Wakefield

One of the best places in Wakefield, very well managed. A pleasant experience all evening. A great menu with many dishes I had never heard of! Good selection of ales and wine and knowledgeable staff to help you choose the best one. Decor is very nice and the whole place has a cosy intimate feel.

Very friendly staff, amazing food, and fantastic cocktails. Get 3 or 4 tapas meals and a side for two people- you won't be disappointed. Can't recommend enough.

This was our first time at Qubana and they had a lot to live up to compared to our favourite tapas restaurant. Luckily, Qubana didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly. Our waiter knew the huge menu off by heart. The tapas dishes were delicious and good portions. Three dishes each was about right. You don’t have to go for the tapas option as they have lots of other meal options that also sounded great. We will be back for more soon.

Gorgeous huge building, excellent service and creative menu. Cuban inspiration. I had spicey halibut with almond puree and Jerusalem artichokes. Unusual and very good.
