Nero - Wakefield

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent and the food is decent, but the variety of options is not as impressive as other places. However, our experience was marred by the cleanliness of the establishment. Despite arriving just 30 minutes after opening on a Sunday morning, we found the floor to be dirty with food scraps scattered everywhere. The chairs were also covered in crumbs. It was clear that the cleaning efforts from the night before were lacking. Additionally, we noticed a growing pile of sugar bags on the floor near the station where cold water and sugars are kept. If the customer area is in this state, we can only imagine the condition of the rest of the cafe.

Great food and as in any Nero, great drinks. New range of sandwiches are particularly tasty. Also very clean cafe in such a busy area

I have visited Cafe Nero on a regular basis ever since it moved to Trinity Walk. The staff are amazing here, and they make the place the best coffee shop in Wakefield. The coffee is excellent too, and I know that 's what they pride themselves on. It 's so nice to be greeted with such a friendly smile greeting, regardless of how busy they are. It 's a shame the space isn 't a little bit bigger, as it 's always so busy here I think people know just how good it is.

I went to this restaurant for breakfast and as always, the coffee was delicious. The cinnamon swirl I ordered was fresh and really enjoyable. The staff member was polite and the seating area was very clean.

I ordered my drink and was asked if I would like cream which I politely declined. It was presented to with cream. I reminded the person serving me of the fact I didn’t want cream She retorted in a very rude manner but you said yes to cream, She flounced around, the atmosphere could have been cut with a knife. If she doesn’t like her job don’t do it or improve your attitude!
