Burger King - Wakefield

This was the worst burger I have ever had. The first burger and fries were cold, dry, and tasteless. I sent them back and the fries came back hot, but the burger was just warm (perhaps cooked fresh this time?). On the second attempt, the bun was dry and fell apart as I tried to eat it. It was a complete waste of time, money, and energy. I should have just gone to McDonald's down the road.

The veggie burger was good, but I was disappointed with the meal deal. The portion of chips was small and cold, and the cappuccino tasted like hot water. I won't be returning as it is also quite expensive.

Today, I visited Burger King and ordered haloumi fries and a veggie burger. Unfortunately, the haloumi fries were actually chicken strips, which was an issue for me as a vegetarian. I complained to the manager and asked for a full refund, but they refused, stating that it wasn't the kitchen's fault. I insisted that it was unacceptable for me as a vegetarian to unknowingly eat chicken and requested a full refund as a gesture of goodwill. The manager's response was unsatisfactory, offering a refund only for the chicken and free haloumi fries. I was appalled by the manager's treatment of me as a vegetarian who had mistakenly consumed meat. This incident occurred at Trinity Walk in Wakefield.

Ordered the Classic Double Melt meal for last 3 Sundays and wanted to praise the helpful and friendly staff. I went inside to order the food, so cannot comment on drive through, but the staff inside work so hard, never stop, yet maintain a friendly cheerful manner when serving at the counter. Shall certainly be back.

Used to be a lovely fast unit. Now they don't do milkshakes they don't do ice cream and are next door to a MacDs where they still do milkshakes and ice cream... Such a shame...
