Tucker Hill Inn - Waitsfield

We had an excellent 3 overnight visit this autumn. this property should be rated 4 stars, not 3 as described. the owners susan and steve as well as the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. the rooms were very clean with new england character. the breakfast and dinner all three days was excellent, especially paella night. the wine list was also better than most restaurants with reasonable trips. we will definitely visit another time.

A wonderful, friendly place to stay. Susan and Steve are wonderful hosts, the staff is friendly and efficient. Their rooms are beautiful and immaculate and so comfortable. Any extra thing you might need, they are there for you. Their downstairs pub and restaurant are wonderful Rachel is an awesome, friendly bartender and their chef Justin does great things with food. I was lucky enough this time to be there when Steve was making paella outside on the patio don't miss it if you are there! I will be back again it is my go to place when I need to get away for a few days. Carolyn Haff

Booked this for 1 night as we were traveling from New York to Maine. What a delightful find! Charming loft room in a country inn with comfortable accommodations but the true delight was in the pub that we chose to dine in, what a revelation. Food was fantastic, all local. Service was superb. The fire pit we found after dinner topped it off. Hats off to Steve (the owner) who we had the privilege of interacting with and he was working his butt off!

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at the Tucker Hill Inn, eating in The Pub both nights. The proprietors, Susan and Steve, are gracious and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and private. The Pub is lively with delicious food try the scallops. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and satisfying. Steve was full of good suggestions as to nearby activities and restaurants. In all, we had a lovely visit to Vermont and highly recommend The Tucker Hill Inn.

Paella for how many? Chef sr. Blanco prepares ok one big dish!!! Nice wines and drinks.... Under the tent, stars at sunset.... Don't miss the next one!!!!
