Localfolk Smokehouse - Waitsfield

Great food. Friendly Low Key atmosphere. I'd bring family. It looks a little rough around the edges. The exterior looks as if it will soon fall down, and women's toilets don't have clinks. It is a hole in the wall vibe so if you want that you like this bbq joint.

This place is like going home. I always find a good friend and good food. The salads are surprisingly good for a grill connection. There is something for everyone on the menu.

My husband and I are out of town and decided to try this place. It was excellent! Our waitress, Michelle, was a total pleasure chatting and their menu recommendations were on site. The food was very good, I was really impressed and would definitely come back when we go through Waitsfield.

Half the ribs were great. Good part and the Maische and Cole Slav were on site. My son goes to Norwich University and he told us about it. So glad we stopped for a bite.

This was a nice, low key, fun place with awesome food! I will definitely stop by next time I am in the area!
