Pizza Barn Waipu

Oh wowza. If you are looking for some good pizza this is the place. Pizza Barn is very dearly loved by everyone who either loves up these ways, holidays up here or passes through. Every single time I've visited or driven past the place is going off. And i'm not surprised. The food is great and the ambience is even better. Most recently cam here with a group of friends while we were staying at my bach just down the road. We couldn't be bothered cooking, and any excuse to come here I can find, I take. As was expected, there was a wait for a table, but we didn't mind. They have awesome little bar area down the back, and plenty of seating so we just got a few drinks and some garlic pita bread to keep us going till our table was ready. The bar guy was super cool and we ended up having a really good chat. It wasn't long until our table was ready. There is plenty of seating both inside the main restaurant and in a little courtyard thing to the side. It is covered so even if it's raining, the wait for a table isn't too long. The pizzas are so good. They really pack on the ingredients and they are really flavoursome. There are other things on the menu but I have only eaten the pizzas, so I can't speak for those. Great service and a really fun vibe. If you're in the area DEFINITELY pop in.

We stopped here on our way to Paihia and because I saw it on Yelp. It didn't disappoint. We got there and the hostess said 20 min wait then the wait for food was another 20 min. We decided to stay. Hostess said we can order a snack and drinks during the wait so we did. We only waited 10 min for our table yay! Then we only waited 10 min for our food. Double yay! It was so good I love a thin crust. Plus the beef nachos were amazing so fresh!! It was great and filled us up till we got to our destination.

We were camping near by and just happened to have left our fuel behind. So we had no choice but to have our main meals in here for a few nights running. I am so glad we did, the pizza's were so good, the toppings were nice and chunky, just as they should be. I hope to swing by here again, if my waistline will permit it !

Best Pizza ever especially the dessert pizzas. Only negative is that I miss the lamb kumara pizza!

Decent calamari. Terrible pizza. The crust was breaking off and the toppings kept slipping off the pizza. Stick to seafood
