I enjoyed the depiction of the family history of her plantation life, and Nostalgia...no later, old cans, pictures. This was proof of a long-term family business in Hawaii. Good job!
Brings back childhood memories. Best tea cookies on the island
I liked this place and the tea cookies. Make sure you go until October 30, as it will be your last day. It's so sad that old school places close. But I'm grateful I could try it before it turns off. The line moved quickly and the selection was limited due to the forthcoming closing. The workers were friendly and efficient.
It is always a pleasant experience when I come here. The ladies who work here are so friendly and helpful. Every cookie here is delicious! My favorites and have to try are the Poi and Coconut and the Kawara cookies. They also sell Taro chips in a variety of flavors, a variety of arare, and various types of Mui fruits. During holidays they always have sweet holiday theme baskets and gifts. I wish I could find her cookies in stores in Hawaii, but it shows that if I regret what almost always, I will make this trip from the North Shore because it is worth it.
