Charley's Thai Cuisine - Waimea

Great quality food at affordable prices. The pad and beef pho are delicious! They also have a limited selection of beer and wine.

We recently made a detour on our way from Kona to Hilo and decided to stop by Charley's Thai Cuisine in Waimea. As a big fan of yellow curry, I was eager to try it at this restaurant. The spices were perfectly balanced—not too strong and not too mild, just as I requested with medium spice. I found the flavor to be very good; while it may not be my absolute favorite, it certainly ranks among the best I've had on the island. My wife opted for the rice dish, which she absolutely loved. We stayed longer in Hilo than planned because she wanted to enjoy her meal before heading back to Kona. The service was attentive, and the decor was lovely for the location. I highly recommend Charley's Thai Cuisine for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.

Best curry fried rice I've had. I would go back. If you order the plates with bland spice, that's what you get. I ordered medium spice and it was excellent.

I accidentally selected the wrong star rating; it should definitely be 5 stars. The chef has been trained by Koch Charley, which is evident in the delicious food. The chefs maintain high standards, and you can see it reflected in the kitchen. The staff is very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. Charley's Thai Kitchen has two locations: Waikoloa and Waimea. I hope I haven't overlooked anything!
