Curry 2 Go - WAIKIKI

A new owner has recently taken over this restaurant and I must say, my meal was fantastic. I ordered the curry lamb vindaloo with saffron rice and it was absolutely delicious. This was the best takeaway I have had in a long time and I will definitely be coming back for more. Yum!

I went to the restaurant today without knowing that it was under new ownership. The owner told me that he had been working on improving his butter chicken after receiving some negative reviews. I ordered two butter chickens for my kids and they devoured them, saying they loved it! The store looks fresh and clean, and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is now under new ownership. I have tried the 'meal for two' here on two separate occasions in the past few weeks and both times the food has been amazing. The high-quality meats are cooked perfectly and the sauces really make the flavors pop. As a fan of vindaloo, I felt like I hit the jackpot here!

The Massaman curry was almost inedible. Too oily, the Lamb was fatty and chewy, not one vegetable in sight and half a small potato. Did not resemble a traditional Thai Massaman flavour at all! The saffron rice was hard too. I had emailed the restaurant directly to discuss my complaint and I've had no reply.Overall, a very disappointing meal and will not be ordering from Curry2go again.

The curries are awesome and they do delivery which is convenient. The delivery does take quite a long while (although they do tell you this up front). There is a guy there that has been there for a while and he has awesome service. There are a few newer younger people who are a bit frustrating to talk to on the phone as you have to repeat yourself a million times, but in general they are all friendly which is important.
