The staff is very friendly, and the chocolate is absolutely delicious! It's a must-visit destination where you have to try their treats!

A regular stop for me my friends and relatives. Very cute neighborhood. Tons of unusual and great souvenirs. Delicious chocolate and coffee.

Love browsing the Waialua Coffee store at the end of the parking lot. Lots of fun items and the prices are more reasonable than the Dole Plantation, for example, for the same item. A couple coffee, cocoa trees to see. Docent available to tell you about them and coffee making. Put 3 for food since there are vend snacks, drinks, but not a restaurant where there's cooking per se. Not sure why the review is set up as a restaurant.

I learned that the sugar mill was built in the late 1800s and was once a booming industry in the area. It was fascinating to hear about the processes involved in producing sugar and the impact it had on the local community. The owner even showed me a video that further enhanced my understanding of the mill 's history. The coffee shop also offers guided tours of the sugar mill, which I took advantage of. It was truly a unique experience to walk through the old buildings and see the equipment used in the past. The tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the mill 's history, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. Aside from the coffee and history, the shop also sells locally made products such as jams, honey, and souvenirs. I couldn 't resist buying a jar of their homemade jam, which I later enjoyed on my toast the next morning. Overall, my visit to The Sugar Mill was a memorable one. I left feeling not only caffeinated but also enriched with knowledge about the sugar mill 's past. The combination of delicious coffee, cozy ambiance, and fascinating history made this coffee shop a must-visit for anyone in the area.
