Soprema Senior Center Cafe - Wadsworth

Went to an event here with residents of Heritage Crossing assisted living and memory care. Had a blast!

Fellowship. Great place for those of us of a certain age to meet, share stories and coffee!

The service was good, but the portion sizes were quite small. The senior set menu is a good value at $5 for a jumbo hot dog, but the relish costs an extra 50 cents. The hot dog comes with chips and a pickle spear. I opted for the chicken salad for $8, which looked appetizing but was mostly bread. My spouse ordered the sloppy joe for $6, and said it was just okay. The kartoffel chips that came with it were more plentiful.

There is a great variety of activities such as prom, old-fashioned days, a cozy fireplace, sitting areas, gathering spaces under the newly built pavilion (in 2021), celebrations for veterans, and more. Seniors are the top priority at the senior center, but everyone is welcome to join in and have fun!"

The senior center in Wadsworth is a fantastic place for seniors to socialize, relax, participate in activities, and enjoy a cup of coffee. The staff goes above and beyond to provide a wide range of activities for all seniors who visit. From prom nights to old-fashioned days, cozy fireside chats, gatherings under the newly built pavilion, honoring veterans, and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy. While seniors are the top priority at the center, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
