My husband and I enjoyed the best cup of coffee we've had in a long time. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Fast forward two years, and I found myself in Wadebridge with my daughter and decided to pop in again on a whim. To my delight, the pool table was back—a good start! I ordered some drinks and, out of curiosity, asked to see the menu, thinking things might have changed. The bartender informed me that they don’t serve food anymore, only drinks. I found it amusing and thought to myself, “Didn't they get the memo?” It's definitely worth a visit because being able to enjoy a drink without the constant noise of food being served is a refreshing change. Many years ago, a friend of mine remarked that pubs aren't what they used to be; they had turned into mere eating establishments. However, the Bridge on Wool is now a true drinking establishment again!
