They use some goofy touch screen that takes WAY longer than speaking to an actual human. If it's raining, have fun trying to use it. Is it too much to ask tat we speak to a human when ordering? Unacceptable. The employees are very good....but who ever decided to switch to a robotic ordering system needs their head checked. Hope the penny pinching is worth it.
Ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch. The employee with 4 lines poorly tattooed on his right forearm, just below his elbow, didn 't put the correct amount of cheese on the sub. When I called him out on it all he said was Not everyone wants it. Didn 't ask- just assumed I didn 't want the full product I was paying for. I didn 't see his name tag clearly enough to read it because it was on the back of his hat. He also had his uniform covered by street clothes. This employee displayed poor presentation and a worse attitude. In fact, most of the employees tonight seemed to be in very poor spirits. I 've been working in customer service for almost a decade, including being a former Subway employee. There 's certain universal standards that span all aspects of customer service. This is worst service I 've received in a long time, and I feel very few of those standards were met. TL;DR The attitude of the staff tonight was absolute ****. I won 't be back.
We went through the drive through because when I got there the restaurant was closed and I was pleasantly surprised never having used the drive through before on how easy it was to place my order I have been in the restaurant however and it was clean and well maintained and the wait was 5 mins or less even in the busiest time of the day
I was Just in the subway in waconia today as my wife is in the hospital the young man taking my order, a meatball sub and a roasted chicken sub was the most amazing young man. He was beyond polite he was very caring when he found out my wife was in the hospital. He should train the entire staff world wide for subway in customer service. Just an outstanding young man. If subway doesn?t promote him they are thinking with their heads cause he is class A perfect. Thank you for making my day better.
