El Loro Mexican - Waconia

Ordered Fiesta Sampler and a frozen margarita. The food was excellent! Truly delicious. There was an ample assortment of beef and chicken in the appetizers. The dish was served fresh, hot, and quickly. Wait staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I've been to other El Loro locations, and the one in Waconia was definitely a cut above.

While the service was fast and friendly the food was atrocious. They gave us ranch dip with our over cooked chips. The rice had huge chunks of corn, carrots, tomatoes, and onion. The queso that was supposed to be on top of the faijitas was barely melted and not queso. The food was cold and tasteless. We then ordered dessert the lava cake. To our surprise the cake was overcooked and burnt, there was no gooey choclate center it was unediable. If you want a really good Mexican restaurante this is not it. Don't waste your money or time.

Food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend you get the pico queso dip wonderful! We left with full bellies. Wait staff was lovely. So glad we stopped by and will definitely return again in the future.
