Mr. Greek - Waco

We had been looking forward to a Greek meal and were highly disappointed to find they no longer serve meals. The place reeked of cigarette smoke in the middle of the day.Apparently Mr. Greek doesn’t appreciate an honest review. If you review my posts, I have given credit as due. I could have said more about his establishment but did not.

Mr Greeks is awesome. The staff are very professional and welcoming.

To counter what somebody with a Greek name and doesn’t know food in Greece said about no lamb gyro in Greece: that individual is extremely wrong and is not familiar with Greece. I will say this: Greeks (as well as majority of eastern Mediterranean countries) use lamb quite often. Having been to Greece many times, I have eaten lamb gyros more times than I can count while there.This place is a great place to eat, and as close to authentic Med as you can get in Waco.

Stopped for some Greek food. Store looked closed at lunch time. Only one guy on his cell phone in the place, lounging in a booth. I asked if they served food... He said no. Will not return. Not sure why even open..
