Bauerncafe Fitscheshof - Wachtendonk

We were in the Fitsches Hof in Wachtendonk today with a hiking group. I was very surprised by the attention and friendliness of the staff. We ate something. My dishes with roasted peel and salad were very tasty and very plentiful for a reasonable price. The salad was very delicious. The restaurant was well visited at about 3 a.m.), a really good restaurant. You can sit wonderfully outside and the kids have a very nice, generous place to play. Some children's bikes, scooters, slide cars and climbing stands. Complete for a trip. We'll be back.

Actually not our catchment area, but we were on a trip to Holland and chose the restaurant because of an existing beer garden and the rural location so that our dog could still stand up. As it is a peasant restaurant, we had no high expectations. The food was so mediocre, but the staff was rather unclean, unfriendly and not attentive, although hardly guests were there. At the corridor to the toilet I saw the staff sitting in the inn and smoking. We don't believe that. Too bad, because the beer garden seems...

Quality is very good. Nice for children and very clean. Good advice!

The Fitscheshof is known at the Niederrhein for its largest carving in any version. In the afternoon there are cakes (very large pieces) and coffee, as much as you like. An excursion by bike, car or on foot here is worthwhile at any time of the day and season!!!
