The Fried Egg - Wabash

It has been about a month since our first visit and we have now been there three times. We are always happy with the service and the food never disappoints. Even though it's usually busy during regular lunch and dinner hours, the hostess always manages to find us a table. The staff works efficiently and there is never a long wait. Great job to Jeff, Levi, Kayla, Thomas, and Linda (Mom)!

Cinnamon roll pancakes!! Great place to eat, have never been disappointed. I love breakfast so I eat a lot, usually I get the Cinnamon roll pancake platter and just a quarter side of biscuits and gravy trust me a quarter is plenty, high recommend if yourin the area!!

The service was excellent, and Ugalde's omelet was delicious. I ordered the omelet with bacon, grits, crispy hash browns, and a biscuit. However, the biscuit was a hamburger bun with butter on top, and the hash browns were mushy. I never received the bacon I ordered. They remade the hash browns, but they were charred on the edges and still mushy. They replaced the hamburger bun with sourdough toast, which was great. My waitress, Robin, worked hard to correct everything and was a shining star in this experience. They did not charge me for the missing bacon and gave a small discount on the hash brown combo. Overall, there are plenty of other places to try in Wabash next time. I will not be returning to The Fried Egg.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! This was my second visit in one week. I have been visiting family in Marion, Indiana and we decided to drive to Wabash just to eat here again. I will definitely be returning in the future when I come back to visit.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the service is friendly and helpful. It is a popular spot, indicating that it is highly regarded by locals. I highly recommend trying The Fried Egg for breakfast.
