Love the place and atmosphere. Went for a walk w my dog and stopped in for some food. I gave the food a 1 star for good reason. I have gotten food poisoning and currently still fighting it off. Not sure how or what from but it’s extremely disappointing when I have to call off work. I won’t be back.

Just fantastic. My family is traveling through this area and popped off of 30 to come in. Totally worth it. Patio is dog friendly and there is a lot of green space for my kiddo to run off some energy. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere was so thoughtful. The portions are HUGE and the food was delicious. May, our server, was attentive. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Best wishes to them and I hope to stop in again next time I travel through.Kid-friendliness: Bathroom was set up well with a really nice changing station. The high chairs are, hands down, the best I’ve seen. Lots of room outside to run.

Cute spot for coffee, salads, lunch and dinner with a show! We went for lunch and they had a band playing live music. We sat outside on the patio and hung out. We shared a salad, a steak and salmon and everything was good! Service was great and waiter frequently checked in on us. Will be back if ever in the area!

Great place to visit. Calm and soothing atmosphere. Unique and rustic.

It was an interesting experience going here. There was live music in the bar at dinner time and quite a few people were over there but we were the only people in the restaurant. Not a problem, we arrived later at night. Our server was very knowledgeable about the drink specials and made several recommendations about the menu options.The old fashioned was delicious and everything you would want in an old fashioned.The fries were very crispy and the pulled pork sandwich with the house pickles together just made one of the best pulled pork sandwiches we have ever tried.Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Elk Burger, which is also one of the more expensive entree options. The meat itself is good, but it felt a little mealy after so many bites. Serving it with a fried egg is a good idea but once the yolk ran out it felt like it was missing something.The most odd thing in this burger though is the single thick cut slice of bacon. It was not crispy, but even if it was I'm not sure it would have helped. I could not take a bite out of this burger without pulling everything off with the bacon and it requires me holding the piece down like a chew toy to snap off a piece. I think there is a reason people use thinly sliced bacon for burgers.I would 100% recommend the General Tso Cauliflower. This is the best dish we had there. The sauce is amazing, the cauliflower was perfectly fried and it was so crispy and crunchy. We could have demolished multiple bowls of it. It could use a little more in each order but when it's so good, I can't complain.Overall I'd recommend this place.
